4. Types of existing cookies

We show below, a classification of cookies based on a series of categories. However, the same cookie may be included in more than one category:

4.1. Types of cookies according to the entity that manages them

Depending on the entity that manages the device or domain from which the cookies are sent and the data obtained are processed, we can distinguish between:

First-Party Cookies:

These are those for which ADHOC Hotels is responsible and which generally are sent to the user’s terminal device from a device or domain managed by ADHOC Hotels and from which the service requested by the user is provided.

Third-Party Cookies:

These are those for which an entity distinct from ADHOC Hotels is responsible and which generally are sent to the user’s terminal device from a device or domain not managed by our organization, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies.

In the case that cookies are served from a device or domain managed by ADHOC Hotels, but the information collected through these is managed by a third party, they will also be considered third-party cookies (for example, improving the services provided or providing advertising services on behalf of other entities).

You should know that, if you accept third-party cookies and subsequently wish to revoke your consent, you will need to delete them from the browser options used or from the system offered by the third party itself. Below, we provide you with sites you can visit to learn more about third-party cookies (deactivation, possible data transfers to third countries, etc.): Google Chrome

Also belong to this category, those cookies that allow the management of advertising spaces in the most efficient way possible, as one more element of design or “layout” of the service offered to the user, that the publisher has included in a web page, application or platform based on criteria such as the content edited, without collecting user information for different purposes, such as personalizing that advertising content or other contents.

These are those that allow remembering information so that the user can access the service with certain characteristics that may differentiate their experience from that of other users, such as the language, the number of results to display when the user conducts a search, the appearance or content of the service

These are designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a web page.

They are usually used to store information that only is relevant to keep for the provision of the service requested by the user on a single occasion (for example, a list of purchased products) and disappear at the end of the session.

Persistent:

These are the ones in which the data continue to be stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the person responsible for the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

This type of cookies can pose risks to user privacy. In any case, when persistent cookies are installed, we will minimize their temporary duration as much as necessary, depending on their purpose.
